Vehicle Description: 1950 Chrysler Town & Country Woody. Beautiful condition, Brown exterior with Beige top --- only 23 registered in USA. This is probably the most beautiful car in Chryslers entire line this year was the Town & Country Newport, which, of course, was built in hardtop form. This was the last Woodie that Chrysler would produce, and its styling was a fitting swan song for a truly unique and attractive line of cars. Sadly, only 698 were built. The car used its own exclusive all-steel body, with ash framing being the only wood used. The side panels were painted in body color. Although the car carried the name Town & Country and was listed as a one-model sub-series, its chassis and running gear were the same as used in the New Yorker, and its series number was C-49N, the same as the New Yorkers. It cost $4,028 and weighed 4,670 pounds. Offered for $53,000.00.
