Following the demise of the Cord Automobile Co. of Oklahoma, Elfman Motors of Philadelphia, PA took over. It does not appear that any cars were produced by Elfman. In 1968, another Oklahoma company took over the revised Cord operation and they did build a few cars. The firms name was Sports Automobile Manufacturing Co. It was called Samco. The Samco Cords were altered extensiely. The wheelbase was lengthened to 108 and 113 inches for the two models offered. A shorter model called the Warrior use a Ford V-8 engine. The longer, Royal model was powered by a Chrysler Magnum V-8. Both models had rear-wheel drive. Offered for $29,950.00 ~ REDUCED FOR IMMEDIATE SALE.
